Position

The Travel Retail works in close relationship with its Duty Free customers to deliver unique brand experience in the biggest Airports and Cruises Lines accross the world.
Mission Statement:
  • Reporting to Regional Director, you will have to develop the distribution and the profitability of all key accounts within Travel Retail Middle East.
  • Responsible for building partnerships with key Regional Purchasing Managers and local top management of your area, you will have to monitor and develop the distribution and the retail visibility of MH portfolio.
  • Key responsibilities include extensive knowledge of key travel retail segments
  • Ensure commercial and marketing strategy is in line with budget targets in order to reach sales and profitability levels requested by MH Global Travel Retail
Main Responsibilities: FINANCE
  • Accountable for the business results and brands’ equity for DDF, QATAR, BAHRAIN, MUSCAT, ISRAEL, LEBANON
  • Achieve agreed profit targets in a healthy P&L, while fostering the MH Portfolio brands’ equity, awareness and desirability through the proactive and innovative management of allocated resources.
  • Responsible for Pré-Budget/Budget/LE1/LE2/Phasing
  • Work collaboratively with TR ME Finance & Operations Business Partner
  • Reporting: Mid-Month Forecast, R&O, Monthly report, D+1, Key customer performance
  • Optimize FTT/A&P budget. Monitor and control spending on a monthly basis.
  • Monitor T&E expenses

SALES & MARKETING
  • Support the Regional Director in annual commercial negotiations.
  • Work collaboratively with Marketing & Retail Manager to develop brand desirability of MH portfolio
  • Drive commercial negotiations at Regional level to maximize all business aspects of your fully owned customer channels and total business drivers.
  • Lead Business Review with regional and local customers
  • Manage the Business Development Executive and ensure it has clear guidance on priorities and goals to achieve sell-out targets
  • Coordinate and ensure we have consistent Strategies with local markets
  • Sales report analysis by market in order to ensure sustainable growth and better accuracy of supply chain flows
  • Continuously look for, and assess, new business opportunities within the region
  • Pro-actively work with the multi-functional team to ensure excellent execution of the sales plans
  • Market Intelligence: gather and analyze market information related to the industry and propose ideas that drive market share and sell-in.
  • Monitor and communicate on competitors’ activities and price positioning.
  • Develop and share best practices with the Organisation, report business results/achievements

LOGISTIC / SUPPLY CHAIN
  • Strong coordination and communication with MH Distribution Centers: MHCS & JAS HY for APO planification
  • Monitor stock level and customer forecast for all customer operations
  • Payment/delivery: ensure proper service level to your customers
  • Monitor Route to Market


Profile

Education: Degree holder (MBA preferred)

Languages: Fluent English (+ French a real plus)

Professional experience & know how:
  • Minimum 7 years' experience in sales at international level ideally in Travel Retail and on Wines and Spirits Market
  • International business negotiation skills
  • Strong knowledge of key account management Middle East markets and Travel Retail

  • Good team management skills (retail specialists)
  • Able to influence and motivate teams who may not directly report to this position
