We are seeking a skilled and dependable

HVAC Technician

to join our

Facilities Management

team. This role is responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems to ensure safe and efficient operations throughout our facility. The ideal candidate will have strong diagnostic skills and a commitment to high-quality workmanship.

Key Responsibilities:

Inspect, maintain, and repair HVAC systems including chillers, boilers, air handlers, VAV systems, and exhaust fans. Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues with HVAC units and associated components. Conduct routine preventative maintenance to reduce equipment downtime. Monitor and adjust building automation systems (BAS) to optimize energy performance. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment status, and repairs. Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations including safety codes. Respond to service requests and emergency calls as needed. Collaborate with other maintenance staff and departments to support overall facility operations.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED required; trade school or technical certification in HVAC preferred. Valid EPA Section 608 Technician Certification (Type II or Universal). 3-5yrs years of experience in commercial or industrial HVAC maintenance. Working knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and control systems a plus. Familiarity with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems). Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals. Excellent problem-solving and time-management skills. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a variety of conditions (heights, confined spaces, outdoors).
