Job Description

I have an interesting opportunity with a market leading Oil and Gas company here in Dubai.

The HR Analyst requires extensive business understanding as well as an intimate knowledge of the HR and employee lifecycle. The HR Analyst will compile, structure and analyze human resources and employee data alongside a focus on continuous improvement of the HR operating model, to enable effective business decisions and increased impact.

Main responsibilities -

  • Assume the lead role with the personnel data management responsible for data recording, data quality, integrity, and security to ensure consistency, accuracy and control.
  • Manage the HR transaction recording from new hire to termination and all the life cycles in between.
  • Collate and analyze data and statistics for trends, including but not limited too; recruitment practices, employment records, payroll outputs, employment records, personnel turnover, management etc. in compliance with employment laws.
  • Proactively develop and generate recurring and customized reports, analytics, dashboards, and queries to ensure data integrity.
  • Performance statistical analysis and develop audit reports for presentation to Manager highlighting opportunities to optimize and implement new data processes and systems.
  • Develop and implement solutions to streamline all processes touching the HRIS system and other HR applications for efficient HR management to ensure return on investment and solutions that are fit for purpose.
  • Recognize process deficiencies and recommend changes to correct issues.
  • Administer the annual Manpower and HR function budgeting cycle, and forecasts as required
Required Competencies:
  • 7 to 10 years functional experience with a minimum of 2 year's experience in a similar role.
  • Experience implementing a human resource management systems (HRIS) desired. Dynamics preferred.
  • Experience using a HRIS essential.
  • Advanced user of Microsoft Office Suite, Excel, and the ability to create charts, spreadsheets, and presentations.
  • Excellent research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • The ability to work as part of a team and independently.
  • Familiarity with HR operations, such as hiring, payroll, and employee benefits.
  • Must be extremely organized and detail orientated
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
