Housekeeping Supervisor
Job Summary:
The Housekeeping Supervisor is responsible for ensuring clean, orderly, and attractive rooms and facilities. They lead a team of attendants, inspect rooms, and manage inventory to maintain high standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise, train, and schedule housekeeping attendants.
- Inspect rooms, common areas, and back-of-house areas to ensure they meet established cleanliness standards.
- Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and linens; place orders as needed.
- Investigate and resolve guest complaints regarding housekeeping service.
- Ensure lost and found items are logged and stored properly.
- Uphold safety and sanitation policies and procedures.
- Prepare reports on room status, occupancy, and maintenance issues.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in housekeeping is a plus.
- Previous experience in a housekeeping supervisory role.
- Strong attention to detail and high standards of cleanliness.
- Excellent organizational and team management skills.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and work under pressure.
