client engagement, dealer network, and auction-based equipment sales
. The ideal candidate will have
5-8 years of experience

heavy equipment industry
, solid familiarity with
brands like CAT, Komatsu, JCB
, and a proven ability to identify opportunities,
build relationships with traders and contractors
, and
drive business growth across borders
.
This role involves
frequent market visits
, collaboration with our
India HQ for pricing and logistics
, and strategic expansion into
African markets

Key Responsibilities:
Client Engagement & Business Development
Meet and maintain relationships with
traders, contractors, and end-users
of construction and mining equipment across UAE.
Regularly visit key hubs including
Sharjah, Jebel Ali, Truck Market, and industrial zones
to identify business opportunities.
Generate and close leads for
used, new, and rebuild equipment
.
Trader & Dealer Network Management
Build and manage a reliable network of
local dealers and traders
.
Track available inventory and pricing trends from UAE's secondary equipment market.
Auction Sourcing & Sales
Handle sourcing and selling of equipment through
Ritchie Bros
and
Euro Auctions
.
Ensure compliance with auction timelines, documentation, and logistics.
Market Expansion - Africa
Research and identify opportunities for exporting machines to
African markets
.
Develop relationships with importers, dealers, and contractors in key African countries.
Sourcing & Pricing Strategy
Work closely with the India HQ for
backward pricing calculations
, machine inspections, and shipment coordination.
Provide regular market insights on pricing, machine condition, and buyer requirements.
Relationship Management with OEMs
Leverage connections with
OEMs and authorized dealers
for sourcing premium and bulk equipment.
Required Education / Skills / Experience:
BE in Mechanical Engineering
or
MBA in Sales & Marketing
(preferred)
Minimum
5-8 years of experience
in the construction or mining equipment industry
Prior working exposure with
UAE-based dealers or traders
Experience in buying/selling via
Ritchie Bros. or Euro Auctions
is added advantage
Knowledge & Skills:
Strong knowledge of
construction and mining equipment
, including brands like CAT, Komatsu, JCB, Hyundai, etc.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and networking skills
Familiarity with
documentation and logistics
for exports and import.
