Heavy Duty Driver (License 7)
Job Summary:
We are looking for a professional and safety-conscious Heavy Duty Driver with a valid License #7 to operate large vehicles for the transportation of goods. The driver will be responsible for the safe and timely delivery of cargo, ensuring compliance with all traffic and transportation regulations.
Key Responsibilities:

• Vehicle Operation: Safely operate heavy-duty trucks (e.g., semi-trailers, tankers, flatbeds) to transport goods over short or long distances.
• Loading & Unloading: Oversee and assist with the secure loading and unloading of cargo, ensuring it is properly restrained and distributed.
• Pre-Trip Inspections: Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle, reporting any defects or maintenance issues.
• Route Planning: Plan routes efficiently to ensure on-time deliveries while adhering to driving hours and rest period regulations.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate logbooks, delivery records, and other required transport documents (e.g., CMR, waybills).
• Safety & Compliance: Strictly comply with all company safety policies, road traffic laws, and regulations governing the transport of goods.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid, clean Heavy Vehicle Driver's License (License #7 or equivalent).
• A valid Professional Driver's Permit (PrDP) is mandatory.
• Proven experience as a heavy-duty driver.
• Excellent knowledge of vehicle maintenance, road safety regulations, and tachograph rules.
• Strong sense of responsibility and a clean driving record.
• Physical ability to handle heavy cargo and work long hours.
