Heavy Driver (UAE License)
Job Summary:
The Heavy Driver operates large vehicles, such as trucks and buses, to transport goods, materials, or passengers. They are responsible for the safe and timely delivery of cargo, ensuring compliance with all UAE traffic and transportation laws.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate heavy vehicles (e.g., trucks, buses, tankers) in compliance with traffic laws.
- Plan routes and meet delivery schedules.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure mechanical soundness.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring it is properly secured.
- Maintain logs of working hours, vehicle service, and cargo details in accordance with regulations.
- Communicate with dispatchers and customers to provide updates and receive instructions.
- Valid UAE Heavy Driver license for the specific vehicle category.
- Clean driving record with no major violations.
- Proven experience as a heavy driver.
- Excellent knowledge of UAE road networks and traffic regulations.
- Physical ability to handle loading/unloading and long driving hours.
- Strong sense of responsibility and safety awareness.
