Health Club and Pool Attendant - Luxury Resort Facilities
Position Overview
Fairmont The Palm in Dubai is hiring a Health Club and Pool Attendant to support the upkeep and guest service experience across our wellness, pool, and beachfront facilities. This guest-facing role ensures that all health club, spa, pool, and beach areas remain clean, safe, and welcoming while providing guests with exceptional service throughout their leisure experience.

Core Duties

• Ensure daily cleaning and upkeep of fitness center, steam rooms, saunas, changing rooms, beach, and poolside facilities
• Assist with setup of loungers, towels, umbrellas, and amenities before guest arrival
• Monitor towel usage and maintain consistent supply for guests across wellness and beach zones
• Provide courteous assistance to guests, helping with seating, providing cold towels, or refreshments as needed
• Follow strict hygiene protocols and report maintenance issues or safety hazards immediately
• Coordinate with laundry team to manage soiled and fresh towel flow
• Support special events or recreation activities held at the pool or beach
• Maintain daily logbooks, follow departmental SOPs, and assist during opening/closing routines
• Report lost and found items and ensure safety and cleanliness standards are followed

Candidate Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year experience in a hospitality, fitness center, or wellness role preferred
• High school diploma or vocational certification
• Strong interpersonal skills and basic English communication
• Well-groomed appearance and commitment to guest service excellence
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred
• Physically fit and able to manage outdoor conditions, including lifting towels and setting up equipment
