Oversee the design the talent development and L&D strategy, policy & standards and align them to the overall business strategy and objectives
Review the organisation behavioural competency model and continuously revisit it to ensure it is valid as per the requirements of the business
Oversee the training content design, training delivery and program management of all training initiatives
Oversee and communicate the implementation of the annual training plan through monthly reviews, tracking training effectiveness, ensuring adequate planning & infrastructure support is available and recommending corrective action as needed
Ensure identification of future organisation capability requirements for each business unit by liaising with BUs and Human Resource Business Partners
Ensure collaboration with Talent Management in the development, functioning, and implementation of succession planning for the critical roles and executive management
Oversee participation in selection of learning and training partners, in line with e& procurement policies
Oversee the preparation of the Learning & Development budget and monitor financial performance versus the budget
Ensure optimisation of L&D costs through achieving an optimal mix of internal and external training and internal references
Oversee the development, implementation and validation of guidelines and standards that address safe training and ethical practices in line with risk management
Establish knowledge management guidelines and frameworks and oversee the implementation of the same to improve collaboration, problem solving and decision making
The Successful Applicant
BSc/BA in Business, Psychology or a related field (Required)
10+ years experience in a Learning & Development role in a Technology or Telco company (Required)
