Position Overview

Universal Sports Hub LLC is seeking a highly motivated and experienced

Head of Accounts & Operations

to lead our finance and operations functions. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership skills, in-depth accounting knowledge, and the ability to manage and inspire teams while ensuring smooth and efficient business operations.

Key ResponsibilitiesAccounts & Finance

Oversee the company's full accounting cycle, including bookkeeping, reconciliations, and reporting. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with IFRS and UAE regulations. Monitor cash flow, receivables, payables, and budgets to ensure financial health. Manage VAT filing and compliance with UAE FTA requirements. Coordinate with external auditors, banks, and regulatory authorities.

Operations Management

Supervise and manage day-to-day operational activities to ensure efficiency. Implement processes and controls to improve operational effectiveness. Monitor inventory, procurement, and resource utilization. Support management in strategic planning and business growth initiatives.

Leadership & Team Management

Lead and mentor the accounts and operations team to ensure high performance. Foster a culture of accountability, efficiency, and collaboration. Provide guidance and training to staff to enhance their skills and productivity. Act as the bridge between management and teams, ensuring clear communication and goal alignment.

Key Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field (Professional certifications like ACCA/CA/CPA preferred). Minimum [2+] years of proven experience in accounting, finance, and operations. Strong knowledge of accounting standards, VAT regulations, and financial reporting. Demonstrated leadership skills with experience in managing teams. Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities. Proficiency in accounting/ERP software and MS Office applications.

Preferred Candidate Profile

Currently on

Residence Visa

or

Family Visa

in the UAE. Strong leadership presence with the ability to manage multiple priorities. Hands-on, proactive, and results-driven professional. Experience in sports, fitness, or trading industries will be an added advantage.
