As Head Chef, you will be responsible for designing menus, maintaining food quality standards, managing kitchen staff, and ensuring efficient and hygienic kitchen operations.
Key Responsibilities
Lead all aspects of kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation
Design creative and seasonal menus tailored to the cafe and restaurant concept
Manage and train kitchen staff, ensuring a high standard of performance and teamwork
Maintain the highest levels of food hygiene, safety, and cleanliness
Monitor food costs, inventory, and kitchen supplies to minimize waste and control budget
Ensure consistency and quality in every dish served
Collaborate with management for promotions, events, and customer feedback implementation
Requirements
Minimum
5 years of experience
as a
Head Chef or Senior Sous Chef
in
4- or 5-star hotels
or equivalent high-end establishments
Strong leadership and team management skills
Expertise in a variety of cuisines (continental, local, fusion, etc.)
Passion for culinary innovation and quality
Excellent time management and organizational skills
Formal culinary education/certification preferred
