Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring smooth workflow and timely service.
Design and update menus in line with restaurant concept and seasonal availability.
Supervise, train, and motivate kitchen staff to maintain high culinary standards.
Monitor food preparation, portion sizes, and presentation for consistency.
Manage inventory, control food costs, and ensure proper storage and waste reduction.
Ensure compliance with all UAE food safety, hygiene, and sanitation regulations (HACCP standards).
Collaborate with management on budgeting, purchasing, and vendor relationships.
Stay updated on culinary trends and introduce innovative dishes to enhance customer experience.
Handle special events, banquets, and catering requests as needed.
Maintain a positive and professional kitchen environment.
Requirements
Proven experience as a Head Chef or Executive Chef in a high-volume or fine dining environment (5+ years preferred).
Formal culinary training or equivalent experience; international exposure is a plus.
In-depth knowledge of kitchen operations, menu development, and cost control.
Strong leadership, team management, and communication skills.
Ability to work under pressure and maintain high standards in a fast-paced setting.
Familiarity with UAE food safety and labor regulations.
