Role Purpose

The General Manager will be responsible for

end-to-end management of Vortexen Abu Dhabi

, overseeing

both Fire Stopping Services and Safety Products divisions

, while driving

business growth, operational excellence, compliance, team building, and revenue targets

Key Responsibilities1. Overall Company Management

Manage day-to-day operations of Vortexen Abu Dhabi Ensure smooth functioning of all departments and divisions Act as the single-point operational head for the company Implement management systems, SOPs, and reporting structures
2. Division Management (Core Responsibility)

Fire Stopping Services

Manage ongoing fire stopping projects and site activities Ensure Civil Defence compliance and approvals Supervise engineers, technicians, and subcontractors Monitor quality, timelines, safety, and documentation

Safety Products & PPE Reselling

Manage sourcing, pricing, inventory, and vendor coordination Develop B2B sales for PPE and safety consumables Coordinate with suppliers, distributors, and logistics partners Ensure compliance with UAE standards and client specifications
3. Business Growth & New Scopes

Identify and introduce new services aligned with Vortexen's license and market demand Upscale company operations with new verticals and revenue streams Evaluate feasibility, pricing, manpower, and compliance for new scopes Support management in strategic expansion planning
4. Team Building & Workforce Management

Recruit the right employees for new and existing scopes Manage engineers, technicians, sales, admin, and support staff Define roles, KPIs, and performance metrics Build a disciplined, accountable, and delivery-focused team
5. Sales, Targets & Client Management

Achieve assigned revenue and profitability targets Handle key client meetings and negotiations Maintain and expand existing client accounts Convert leads into projects and long-term contracts Leverage existing Abu Dhabi client network
6. Documentation, Registration & Compliance

Oversee all documentation, approvals, and registrations, including: Civil Defence Vendor registrations ADNOC / EPC prequalifications Compliance certificates and renewals Ensure audit readiness and document accuracy Coordinate with PROs and authorities when required
7. Office & Operations Supervision

Supervise office administration and daily operations Monitor reporting, MIS, project updates, and financial coordination Ensure inter-department coordination and discipline Act as management representative in Abu Dhabi
Required Experience & Profile

Minimum

10+ years of experience

in Abu Dhabi (mandatory) Proven experience in: Fire Stopping / Fire Protection Services

and/or

Industrial Safety Products / PPE trading Strong understanding of Abu Dhabi regulatory environment Existing

client base and market connections

(mandatory) Experience managing projects, teams, and targets Sound knowledge of documentation, approvals, and compliance
