Position Overview
This Relationship Manager role manages and grows large account portfolios within the Corporate Banking Group (CBG) segment. The position focuses on originating new business opportunities, conducting financial analysis, overseeing credit quality, driving cross-selling, and supervising daily client interactions. It ensures revenue targets are achieved while maintaining strong client satisfaction and portfolio credit quality.

Key Responsibilities

  • Participate in financial and industry analysis to identify growth opportunities and potential risks.
  • Originate new business opportunities across FAB's banking products.
  • Prepare Term Sheets, Information Memorandums, mandate letters, and related deal documents.
  • Collaborate with product and enablement units to resolve credit, market, and operational risk elements in transactions.
  • Pitch, negotiate, and conclude deals with key clients and stakeholders.
  • Maintain and monitor credit quality across assigned portfolio in line with bank standards.
  • Identify cross-selling opportunities and increase cross-sell ratios with core clients.
  • Prepare and maintain Account Plans for all key clients.
  • Ensure timely submission of credit reviews and fulfilment of agreed conditions.
  • Maintain satisfactory audit ratings and ensure strong operational control across the portfolio.
  • Support administrative and transactional activities including client calls, documentation follow-up, and pipeline updates.
  • Ensure adherence to internal processes, KYC, AML, and regulatory compliance requirements.
  • Follow all relevant policies, SOPs, and internal guidelines for consistent and controlled operations.
  • Assist in preparing accurate reports and MIS to meet unit requirements.
Ideal Profile
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or related field; Master's in Business Administration preferred.
  • 8-10 years of experience in corporate banking, specifically within coverage roles.
  • Knowledge of corporate banking, FAB's product suite, and business strategies.
  • Strong analytical and research skills, including financial modelling and data analysis.
  • Skilled in credit analysis, risk evaluation, and transaction execution.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and adapt to shifting priorities.
  • Proficient with banking software systems and MS Office tools.
