Job Description
We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive
Accountant
to join our team at a wood furniture manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will handle day-to-day financial operations, ensure accurate reporting, and support overall financial management--with hands-on experience using Xero accounting software.
Key Responsibilities
Manage daily accounting tasks including entries, invoicing, and reconciliations Maintain accounts payable and receivable records Prepare monthly and quarterly financial reports Monitor and report on factory-related costs and budgets Ensure accurate financial documentation and filing Assist with payroll entries and employee reimbursements Handle inventory costing and financial analysis Coordinate with external auditors and support compliance processes
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
Proven experience using Xero accounting software
Strong understanding of general accounting principles Experience in a factory or industrial work environment preferredFluent in both English and Arabic - reading, writing, and speaking
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other financial tools High attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to work independently and meet deadlinesPreferred
3+ years of accounting experience Familiarity with inventory and cost accounting in a manufacturing setup Prior experience in the wood or furniture industry is an advantage
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Contract length: 24 months
Pay: AED2,500.00 - AED3,500.00 per month
Ability to commute/relocate:
Sharjah: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
Experience:
