Job Title: General Accountant

Responsibilities:

Accurately record daily financial transactions in the accounting system and maintain general ledger accounts.

Prepare, post, and reconcile month-end and year-end closing entries.

Monitor daily cash flow to ensure liquidity for operational needs.

Reconcile accounts payable and receivable balances and process payments to vendors and employees in compliance with company policies.

Perform monthly bank reconciliations, resolve discrepancies promptly, and maintain organized financial records.

Assist in audit preparation, ensuring audit-ready documentation is available and supporting internal and external audits.

Support VAT and corporate tax reporting, ensuring accurate and timely submissions in line with local regulations.

Prepare financial statements, payroll process, monthly and annual reports, and other required reports for management.

Collaborate with team members to improve accounting processes and systems for greater efficiency.

Address financial inquiries from vendors, clients, or internal departments.

Stay updated on accounting principles, standards, and relevant regulations.

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

Experience:

Minimum of 3+ years of accounting experience.

Proficient in Tally and Microsoft Excel.

Strong knowledge of UAE VAT, corporate tax, and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).

Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively.

Strong communication skills in English, Hindi, and Malayalam.

Ability to work independently and collaborate as part of a team.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED2,500.00 - AED3,000.00 per month
