Position Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable General Accountant with strong experience in the UAE market and fluency in
Arabic and English
. The ideal candidate will handle the full accounting cycle and support financial decision-making processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day accounting transactions
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
- Reconcile bank statements and monitor cash flow
- Handle accounts payable and receivable
- Coordinate with auditors and external consultants
- Ensure compliance with UAE tax regulations (VAT, corporate tax)
- Maintain accurate financial records and documentation
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- Fluency in Arabic and English (spoken and written)
- 3+ years of accounting experience in the UAE
- Strong knowledge of UAE VAT and tax compliance
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Zoho, or Tally)
- High attention to detail and strong analytical skills
