Job Summary

The Accountant will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting operations, expense tracking, payroll coordination, reconciliations, and statutory compliance. The role requires strong attention to detail, hands-on experience with UAE accounting practices, and the ability to independently manage multiple cost centers, petty cash funds, and intercompany transactions.

Key ResponsibilitiesBilling, Utilities & Statutory Payments

Manage and verify

telecommunication bills

, ensuring accuracy, allocation, and timely posting. Process and record

Emirati Pension invoices

in compliance with UAE regulations. Review and reconcile

free zone portal statements

, ensuring alignment with company records.
Cards, Prepaid & Cash Management

Monitor and reconcile

prefunded cards

and

prepaid entries

, ensuring proper documentation and usage. Maintain and control

petty cash

for multiple locations and purposes, including regular and emergency expenses. Ensure all petty cash transactions are properly supported with valid receipts and approvals.
Fuel & Operational Expenses

Track and reconcile

fuel and vehicle-related expenses

, ensuring correct cost allocation and reporting.
Accounting & Reconciliations

Perform

bank reconciliations

on a regular basis, identifying and resolving discrepancies. Handle

intercompany reconciliations

, ensuring balances between group entities are accurate. Prepare and issue

intercompany invoices

in line with agreed terms and timelines.
VAT & Compliance

Calculate

VAT

, ensure proper classification of transactions, and support VAT return preparation. Maintain organized accounting records for audit, compliance, and tax purposes.
Payroll & Employee Costs

Process and record:

Office staff salaries

Operational and site staff salaries

Calculate

End of Service (EOS) benefits

in accordance with UAE Labour Law. Calculate and record

overtime

, ensuring accuracy and proper approvals.
System & Vendor Management

Create and maintain

supplier records in Tally

, ensuring accurate master data and supporting documentation. Ensure timely and accurate posting of all accounting entries in Tally.
Required Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Minimum

5 years of accounting experience

in the UAE. Strong working knowledge of

Tally

. Practical experience with

UAE VAT

, payroll, EOS calculations, and intercompany accounting. Strong reconciliation skills with high attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple cost centers and cash controls. Good communication and coordination skills.
Preferred Experience

Experience working with

UAE free zone entities

. Exposure to

operations-heavy environments

(industrial, construction, logistics, or similar).

Pay: AED5,000.00 - AED5,500.00 per month
