Provide accurate technical details including measurements, construction, and block specifications to support design and development packs
Lead fit sessions from development samples through to pre-production (PP) samples, ensuring consistency in fit across categories
Communicate clear and concise fit and development comments to vendors to support accurate bulk production
Collaborate closely with the buying team to ensure fit and technical requirements are addressed during the development process
Calculate tentative fabric consumption and contribute to cost estimation
Manage wearer trials and implement feedback to enhance product fit and sizing
Develop grade rules and prepare graded size charts to ensure consistency across all sizes
Make pattern corrections based on fit issues when necessary
Liaise with suppliers and factories throughout the production process, resolving technical challenges to meet delivery timelines
Review production and shipment samples to ensure compliance with fit, quality, labeling, and packaging standards.
Evaluate Garment Performance Testing (GPT) reports and consult with department heads to address any commercial implications
Desired Experience:
3 to 5 years of experience in garment fit technology, with hands-on exposure in pattern design, quality control, or related roles within retail or manufacturing environments.
Proficiency in garment construction, fit assessment, grading, and pattern correction.
Experience working with cross-functional teams, suppliers, and factory partners to resolve technical challenges.
