About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Foreman to join our Bridge Maintenance team in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. As a Foreman, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and managing bridge maintenance projects, ensuring they are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.

Supervise and coordinate daily bridge maintenance activities on-site Manage and motivate work crews to meet project deadlines and quality standards Interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to ensure accurate project execution Enforce safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe work environment Conduct regular quality control inspections throughout the project lifecycle Coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth project flow Troubleshoot and resolve on-site issues promptly and effectively Maintain accurate records of project progress, labor hours, and material usage Ensure compliance with local building codes and regulations in Abu Dhabi Participate in project planning meetings and contribute to improving work processes Implement and oversee preventive maintenance programs for bridges Assess bridge conditions and recommend necessary repairs or improvements Stay updated on the latest bridge maintenance techniques and technologies

What do we need from you

Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering Minimum 5 years of experience as a Foreman or in a similar leadership role in the Infrastructure Maintenance industry, with a focus on bridge maintenance Valid UAE Driving License In-depth knowledge of bridge maintenance techniques and best practices Familiarity with local building codes and regulations in Abu Dhabi Strong leadership and team management skills Excellent problem-solving abilities and decision-making skills Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written Physical ability to work in various weather conditions and at heights Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to safety standards * Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends when required
