FM Executive (Facilities Management Executive)
Job Title: Facilities Management (FM) Executive
Department: Facilities Management
Reports To: FM Supervisor or Facilities Manager
Job Overview:
The FM Executive is responsible for supporting the daily operations and maintenance of an organization's facilities. This role ensures that the work environment is safe, functional, and well-maintained by coordinating with vendors, conducting routine inspections, and assisting with the management of building systems. The executive acts as the first line of response for facility-related issues.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintenance Coordination: Schedule and supervise routine and corrective maintenance for electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and other building systems.
  • Vendor Management: Liaise with external service providers, contractors, and suppliers. Obtain quotes, oversee work quality, and process invoices.
  • Space Management: Assist in office space planning, moves, additions, and changes (MAC). Manage workstation allocations and setup.
  • Safety & Compliance: Conduct regular facility inspections to identify safety hazards and ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations. Support fire drill and emergency evacuation procedures.
  • Help Desk Support: Respond to and resolve facility-related requests and issues logged through a help desk or ticketing system.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain an inventory of facility supplies, tools, and critical spare parts.
  • Reporting: Assist in generating reports on maintenance activities, utility consumption, and facility performance metrics.
Qualifications and Skills:
  • Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 1-3 years of experience in a facilities management or property management role.
  • Basic knowledge of MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) systems.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Good communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
