Description
Florist is responsible for preparing the flower requirements for the outlets, guest rooms and public areas as requested or specified.
Should have thorough knowledge about a wide range of floral designs, flowers, and foliage along with their seasonal availability and how long they will stay fresh. All designs and duties are to be performed in accordance with housekeeping department standard operating policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities

• Responsible for the floral decoration throughout the hotel and its maintenance (rooms as well as all public areas).
• Responsible for the design of the decoration at events (weddings, birthdays, gala dinners, New Year's Eve celebrations, etc.)
• Preparation of floral decorations based on guest requests
• Ordering of goods and equipment
• Adherence to and monitoring of the given budget
• Preparation of cost splits for all departments
• Additional responsibilities and tasks can be added at any time according to the needs of the company and the hotel.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
To fill the position the following is required :
Very good knowledge of flowering operation
Ability to work and communicate in a multinational environment
Faculty of analysis, evaluation and decision making in the day-to-day business and in the case of emergency
