Responsible for overseeing and coordinating the daily operations of a company\'s fleet, ensuring efficiency, compliance, and cost-effectiveness. Duties and Responsibilities: - Coordinate and schedule vehicle maintenance, repairs, and inspections to ensure the fleet\'s optimal condition. - Monitor fuel usage, mileage, and other key metrics to optimize vehicle performance and reduce operational costs. - Maintain accurate records of all fleet-related activities, including repairs, inspections, and maintenance. - Plan and optimize delivery routes to ensure timely and cost-effective transportation of goods. - Collaborate with drivers and call centers to address route issues and optimize delivery schedules. - Act as a liaison between drivers, maintenance staff, and management to facilitate smooth communication and problem resolution. - Provide regular updates on fleet performance and suggest improvements to enhance overall efficiency. - Utilize fleet management software and technology to track and manage vehicle locations, monitor fuel consumption, and generate reports for analysis. - Implement and optimize the use of telematics systems to improve overall fleet performance. - Monitor and control operating costs, including fuel expenses, maintenance costs, and repair expenditures. - Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement strategies to improve the overall financial performance of the fleet. - Implement safety protocols and training programs for drivers to ensure a safe working environment. - Conduct regular safety inspections and address any issues promptly.
