About the Job: An opportunity has arisen for a Finance Executive - Cost Controller role to join Jumeirah Gulf of Bahrain Resort & Spa Finance Team. The main duties and responsibilities of this role: Ensure cost control systems and procedures are developed and maintained to support an accurate audit control and supervising date to date operation. Provide Heads of the Department with monthly financial data in order to allow them to analyze their performance and run their departments profitably. Check the daily report and month end report before forwarding to the management. Month end Journal Voucher Balance Adaco Purchases vs GL- SunSystem Inventory Turnover Report F&B Stats Report KPI Report FOC Items Reconciliation Report Balance Sheet Reconciliation for Inventory Account Ensure that policies and processes on purchasing, receiving, transferring, issuing are updated and observed in accordance with Internal Operating Procedures manual in order to be in line with company directives. Administer all monthly inventory process to ensure controlled losses for the hotel. About You: The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications: Certificate in any Commerce/Finance course or relevant field A minimum of 3 years' experience in a cost control position in the Middle East Excellent organisational skills, able to multi-task and meet deadlines Familiar with back of the office systems Excellent numerical skills About the Benefits: We offer an attractive tax-free salary, paid in Bahraini Dinar (BHD), the local currency of Bahrain.
