About the Job: An opportunity has arisen for a Director of Sales & Marketing role to join Jumeirah Gulf of Bahrain Resort & Spa Family. You will manage the Sales & Marketing activities, promotions, sponsorships and is responsible for the efficient and effective running of the Department in order to achieve set objectives, support the yearly business plan and stay in line with annual budget. The main duties and responsibilities of this role: Ensuring appropriate and efficient communication of business goals and property Updating across Corporate Commercial Team, Global Sales Offices, and property-based Sales & Marketing team. Ensuring the effective implementation and administration of company-wide policies, procedures, and practices in accordance with stated Company objectives and Bahrain legislation requirements. Being able to have a full understanding and knowledge of all room types, restaurants, conference and events facilities and the current market rates applicable. Maintaining open lines of communication and ensure customer complaints, compliments and feedback are handled effectively and efficiently by liaising with other related departments. Making recommendations to Management for modernization of equipment, service methods, presentation, and improved guest satisfaction Developing and maintaining close relationship with the local and international About You: The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications: Bachelor's degree or equivalent diploma in Hospitality Management Minimum of 5 years' work experience in Sales & Marketing for a luxury hotel Minimum of 5 years' Middle East experience in the luxury hotel Vast knowledge of local and international Market Strong Leadership Skills About the Benefits: We offer an attractive tax-free salary, paid in Bahraini Dinar (BHD), the local currency of Bahrain.
