/ Reporting To: Head of FBO\'s & Aircraft Management Specialist

/ The Role:

Due to the rapid expansion of the Gama Aviation Middle East Operations, we are looking for an FBO Manager. The role is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the Company\xe2\x80\x99s FBO operations, teams, client relationships, contracts, and business development.

These duties are indicative of the role and are not exhaustive and may change to meet the Companies Business Objectives from time to time as required by Management.

/ Main Responsibilities:
  • Leadership and overall responsibility for FBO staff performance and service levels in line with company procedures.
  • Develop and implement strategies in order to grow market share and maximize FBO revenues.
  • Maintain positive relationships and a collaborative approach with all FBO customers, suppliers and stakeholders.
  • Consistently seek and attain additional revenue opportunities.
  • Regular monitoring and recording of KPIs, market activities, business volumes and margins.
  • Proactive in incentivizing customers, PR and campaigns.
  • Responsible for P&L performance and optimization.
  • Enforce security and safety procedures in the FBO and on the ramp.
  • Establish a culture that promotes safety through daily observation, shift briefings, training and documented safety procedures, monthly safety meetings, and routine audits.
  • Maintain open channels of communication between the team members within the FBO.
  • Close liaison with wider Gama Aviation commercial team to drive additional opportunities for the company.
  • Day to day liaison and point of contract with FBO Clients, suppliers and stakeholders \xe2\x80\x93 in order to exceed clients\xe2\x80\x99 expectations.

/ Skills, Qualifications and Experience required:

Essential
  • Experience within FBOs, minimum 5 years.
  • Strong commercial acumen with skills in budgeting and forecasting.
  • Proven excellence in dealing with complex operational issues across cultural boundaries.
  • Ability to optimize P&Ls.
  • Development and implementation of new business plan.
  • 5* Customer Service Experience.
  • A highly motivated "people" person.
  • Demonstrated experience managing teams and individuals.
  • Ability to legally work and live within the United Arab Emirates.

Advantageous

Preference will be given to candidates who also possess skills in the following areas:
  • Driver\xe2\x80\x99s license is an advantage.
