VACANCY INTRODUCTION ExecuJet Middle East is currently seeking a FBO Quality, Safety & Training Manager to fill a vacancy within our Fixed Based Operation (FBO) for a position based in Dubai. JOB PURPOSE The main objective of the position is to Manage the Quality and Safety and Training functions. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage the Quality function and maintain open channels of communication with the management and personnel. Maintain confidentiality and integrity of the SMS

• Create and maintain the Quality and Safety audit plan. Conduct Internal and Supplier audits.

• Encourage a strong internal reporting culture, promoting a proactive reporting culture.

• Ensure non-conformance reports raised are addressed and that corrective actions are implemented as required.

• Continually review and maintain Quality and Safety Management systems. Assist in development of departmental procedures.

• Personnel authorisation issue and control process.

• Company and technical documentation control including EJME Management Manual.

• Prepare and present training to personnel in respect of Management Manuals and supporting documentation, as well as Aviation Regulations.

• Attend 'Pre' and 'Post' audit meetings and accompany any third-party auditors during the audit process being conducted.

• Monitor and ensure compliance with new regulatory requirements as and when published/advised by Civil Aviation Authorities.

• Ensure conformance to the IS-BAH standard and continually improve the safety culture within the organisation.

• Assess and approve Subcontractors/Suppliers providing product/services to the FBO.

• Monitor the development and documentation of the internal control systems within the division.

• Implementation and maintenance of the Q-Pulse and SMS system.

• The organisation and management of the ExecuJet Safety Programme in its entirety.

• Management and supervision of the Safety Committee.

• Carry out Risk assessments and ensure findings are directed to the responsible people and are prioritised as per the risks ranking. Establish and maintain Safety KPIs relevant to the existing risks identified.

• Ensure corrective and preventative actions recommended are communicated to the responsible manager for implementation. Responsible for CAPAs' relating to postholder safety function.

• Continual monitoring of the SMS system procedures and regulations to ensure EJME remains in compliance with national and international standards, and management are kept informed of any changes.

• Continual development and delivery of the company SMS training presentation.

• Reviews existing training programs, suggesting enhancements and modifications to improve engagement, learning, and retention and/or to meet the changing needs of clientele, the organisation, or the industry.

• Ensures that training materials and programs are current, accurate, and effective

• Maintains knowledge of new methods and techniques for training, and training requirements applicable to the organisation and/or industry.

• Collaborates with vendors and third-party training providers to arrange employee registration for and participation in outside training programs.

• Ensures that training milestones and goals are met while adhering to approved training budget.

• Prepares and implements training budget.

• Conducts in-house employee training

• Performs other related duties as assigned.

*PERSON SPECIFICATION
*

• At least 5 years of experience as an auditor in Ground Handling, specifically in a Business Aviation environment

• Recognized auditing accreditation/Training

• An in-depth Knowledge and experience working with International Standard for Business Aviation (IS-BAH)

• Demonstrated ability in: auditing skills and technique

• At least 5 years' experience in a training role within the aviation industry.

• Recognised aviation training qualifications in at least two of the following subjects: SMS, Human Factors, Aviation Security, Emergency Response, Ramp Safety.

• Experience using Q-Pulse is preferred.
