/ Position: FBO Coordinator

/ The Role:

Gama Aviation is currently recruiting for an FBO Coordinator, which is an integral role within the Middle East region\'s operational and compliance structure, ensuring effective and efficient day-to-day operations of the company\'s business activities. The role is responsible, on a shift basis, for the safe ground handling operation of company and third-party aircraft. The successful candidate will join a long established and respected forward-thinking company.

/ Main Responsibilities

• Accountable for the planning and performance of FBO operations when on shift whilst maintaining Gama Aviation standards.
• Responsible for the safe, efficient and timely aircraft turnaround.
• Responsible for the completion and distribution of the daily operations log documents, ensuring that any pertaining issues are forwarded promptly.
• Report Safety hazards.
• Assists the FBO Manager in capturing revenue.
• Provide the initial point of contact for customers operating or preparing to operate an aircraft within the Airport.
• Ensure all movements and invoicing are updated within Gama FBO software.
• All processing and planning of aircraft operations in accordance with statutory requirements.
• Ensures that key performance indicators are achieved for all aspects of Gama\'s customers.
• Ensures safe towing operation of aircraft on the Gama ramp and hangars.
• Effective communication with all internal and external stakeholders, including but not limited to Airport Operations, external third-party suppliers and client operations or representatives.
• Provide feedback through the companies SMS and Quality systems. Follow and provide constructive feedback on operational procedures introduced by the management team.
• Ensure compliance with UAE GCAA and applicable regulatory authorities under whose register the company operates aircraft.
• Assist the FBO Manager in ensuring all services provided are accomplished efficiently.
• Assist with on-the-job training and development as well as coaching for all junior staff and new joiners.
• Regular review and update of operations notices, when required.
• Provide commercial quotes to any requests received from third parties and direct requests, in conjunction with on call commercial executives, when required.
• Oversight of all aircraft servicing activities utilizing organizational SOP\'s.
• Interfacing with personnel, management, maintenance, and crew,
• Act as contact for FBO Management.
• Undertake any other tasks assigned by Management Team when requested.
• Ensure all areas of the FBO lounge facility including kitchen area are kept clean at all times.

/ Minimum Requirements

• UAE Driving license.
• Ability to follow procedures.
• Demonstrated knowledge and experience of operations and requirements within the Business Aviation industry.
• Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of national and international aviation regulations.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
• High level understanding of Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong customer service ethic and approach.
• Experience building and maintaining effective and strong working relationships with business stakeholders.
• Demonstrated experience in working in a high-pressure environment.
• Demonstrated ability to recognize and acknowledge complex operational issues, taking proactive measures to address issues.
