Job Overview
The Facilities Manager will oversee day-to-day operations, long-term maintenance strategies, and capital projects within Dubai Festival City's portfolio. The role includes managing service providers, coordinating with internal teams, budgeting for operational and CAPEX needs, and ensuring all assets meet safety, sustainability, and compliance standards.
Key Responsibilities

• Manage all property assets and lifecycle maintenance programs
• Lead hard and soft service delivery across residential and commercial buildings
• Ensure vendor performance and manage long-term service contracts
• Coordinate supply chain activities for equipment, consumables, and outsourced services
• Oversee CAPEX project planning, execution, and reporting
• Monitor operational budgets and control maintenance expenses
• Lead emergency and crisis response procedures across facilities
• Ensure compliance with HSE regulations, audit standards, and sustainability goals
• Track and report KPIs, maintenance logs, and energy efficiency targets
• Build and manage a high-performance technical team
• Support interdepartmental collaboration with leasing, security, procurement, and customer service teams

Reporting & MIS

• Submit regular reports on facility status, cost savings, incident resolution, and CAPEX progress
• Maintain facility dashboards and audit-ready documentation

Financial Management

• Control operational expenditure and implement cost-efficient maintenance strategies
• Manage forecasting, budget reviews, and vendor cost negotiations

Governance & Standards

• Ensure full compliance with UAE building codes, fire safety, and environmental guidelines
• Enforce internal policies for quality assurance and asset protection

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
• Master's in Business Management, Property, or Facilities Management preferred
• Membership with IFMA, IWFM, or MRICS is a strong advantage
• Minimum 10 years of UAE-based facilities management experience
• Strong understanding of hard/soft services, sustainability practices, and asset maintenance
• Proficiency in project management tools, FM systems, and performance monitoring
• Strong leadership, communication, and vendor coordination skills
