Job Title: Elevator Mechanical Installation Technician
Experience Required: Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in elevator installation.
Job Summary:
Responsible for carrying out complete mechanical installation of passenger and goods elevators. Must be able to handle the installation process independently from start to handover, ensuring compliance with technical standards and safety requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Install elevator mechanical components including rails, machine units, car frames, counterweights, doors, and safety devices.
Read and interpret technical drawings, installation manuals, and site layouts.
Measure, mark, and prepare shafts in accordance with manufacturer specifications.
Perform complete installation works with minimal supervision.
Coordinate with site teams, contractors, and electrical technicians to ensure smooth progress.
Conduct alignment, leveling, and adjustments of all mechanical parts.
Follow safety procedures and ensure compliance with relevant standards (EN 81 & local regulations).
Report progress, issues, and material requirements to the supervisor.
Support testing and commissioning teams as required.
Requirements:
Minimum 5 years' experience in elevator mechanical installation (passenger or goods lifts).
Strong knowledge of installation sequences and site safety.
Ability to work independently and deliver full installations without supervision.
Good communication and problem-solving skills.
Physically fit and able to work at heights.
Preferably with experience in multi-brand elevator systems.

Key Responsibilities:
Assist in installing rails, car frames, counterweights, doors, and other mechanical components.
Support measuring, marking, and preparation works inside the elevator shaft.
Follow instructions from senior technicians and ensure proper sequence of installation.
Handle materials, tools, and equipment safely and efficiently.
Help with alignment, fixing, and basic adjustments under supervision.
Maintain site cleanliness and adhere to safety rules and regulations.
Report progress and any issues to the senior technician or supervisor.
Requirements:
Minimum 2 years' practical experience in elevator mechanical installation.
Basic understanding of elevator components and installation steps.
Ability to work inside shafts and at heights.
Good teamwork, communication, and willingness to learn.
Physically fit and able to follow safety procedures.
