About the role:
Jan De Nul is a pioneer in building at sea. We install renewable energy infrastructure, make marine transport possible, protect our coastlines and build the most advanced harbours. To keep our vessels operational as much as possible, we need technically minded engineers like you. What you'll do:
Your Role
We are seeking a skilled Electrical Specialist to join our Asset Management Support Team. This office-based role focuses on maintaining and optimizing electrical asset data for dredging + offshore vessels and land based equipment. You'll collaborate with technical department to ensure accurate documentation, article management and contribute to maintenance strategies.
Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and analyze electrical asset records (e.g. winches, switchboards, control systems)

• Review schematics and ensure compliance with maritime electrical standards and JDN minimum spare parts recommendation

• Coordinate with vessel crews, TD, and suppliers to validate asset data
• Update CMMS/EAM systems with accurate electrical information (AmosW)
• Manage electrical article master data in the maintenance system
• Work confidently with MS Office tools, especially Excel

Requirements

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
• 3+ years of experience in maritime, offshore, or dredging electrical systems
• Familiarity with vessel electrical infrastructure and dredging / offshore equipment
• Strong documentation and analytical skills
• Fluent in English
• Proficient in MS Excel and asset management systems
• (e.g. AmosW, Maximo, SAP PM)
