Ecommerce & Channel Distribution Manager

Job Description

We are searching for a highly-motivated and self-driven eCommerce and Channel Distribution Manager to take care of our Flights and Hotels OTA product. In this position, you are expected to be well-versed with all aspects of eCommerce, Channel Distribution and Digital Marketing.

You will be responsible for managing and growing our OTA business for Flight and Hotels by always being in continuous touch with the product commercial & pricing teams and the marketing team members. Your central goal is to help grow our brand's influence locally while also increasing brand loyalty and awareness. Your duties will include planning, coordinating, implementing, monitoring & reporting everything that falls under the purview of eCommerce management and Channel Distribution.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for developing roadmap summarizing all digital marketing initiatives and strategy mapping for both the product vertices - Flights & Hotels
  • Align initiatives with Global Marketing teams to ensure seamless execution of online Marketing activities throughout the year
  • Provide expertise in key online revenue drivers, revenue formulas around traffic, conversion, AOV, user interface principles and online UX best practices
  • Keep optimizing product content to ensure that it is coherent with the brand as well as the customer requirements
  • Look for opportunities to partner with any other eCommerce player with our whitelabel solution
  • Engage with the customer service teams and other stakeholders to execute & monitor Omni Channel initiatives
  • Provide new ideas and feedback on development related product, content and customer experience
  • Periodical Ad-Hoc Website performance analysis for ongoing UX optimizations, propose and influence plans for future growth as well as liaising with external service providers on new product offerings and implementations that can lead to increased conversion and experience
  • Proficiency with online content management systems
  • Work closely with product team to brief local/regional needs on product, content and outreach cadence
  • Collaborate with the CRM team on content, outreaches and segmentation to communicate and engage with current ecomm database
  • Track and analyze performance of email marketing/Newsletter and other CRM campaigns
  • Contribute to accelerate Ecomm purchasers' database growth & quality
  • Propose and collaborate with CRM on online customer acquisition initiatives
  • Make suggestions to optimize the existing customer loyalty program and improve further
  • Partner with programs & projects that can drive traffic and revenue to the site
Requirements:

You should ideally have
  • Proven work experience (of at least 6 to 9 years) in eCommerce, Channel Distribution and Digital Marketing, preferably in the Travel sector.
  • Hands-on experience of managing paid campaigns on platforms like Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn etc.
  • Hands-on experience in managing CMS.
  • Excellent copywriting skills.
  • Solid Knowledge of Analytics tools like Google Analytics, Appsflyer, Singular, App Annie etc.
  • Strong Knowledge of SEO, keyword research.
  • Working knowledge of SQL & HTML is a must.
  • Excellent communication skills and Strong Presentation skills
  • Analytical ability and strong inclination to crunch numbers and identify trends.
  • Familiarity with CRM Campaigns, Social Media Campaign/Ad manager.
  • Basic Working Knowledge of creative designing on tools like Canva and other similar ones will be a plus.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Bachelor's/Master's degree in Marketing or relevant field.
  • Numerically literate, comfortable working with numbers, making sense of metrics and processing figures with spreadsheets
  • Great team player and strong performer who has worked with high performing marketing teams.
