Domestic/Irrigation / Sewage Pumps Technician
Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled Pumps Technician specializing in the installation, maintenance, and repair of domestic water pumps, irrigation systems, and sewage pumps. The technician will ensure the efficient and reliable operation of pump systems for residential, commercial, and agricultural clients.
Key Responsibilities:

• Installation & Commissioning: Install new domestic water pumps, irrigation systems, and sewage pumps according to manufacturer specifications and safety codes.
• Preventive Maintenance: Perform scheduled servicing, inspections, and testing of pumps and related components to prevent failures.
• Troubleshooting & Repair: Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults in pump systems. Dismantle equipment, replace defective parts, and reassemble to restore functionality.
• System Monitoring: Check pump performance, including flow rates, pressure, and motor amperage, to ensure optimal operation.
• Emergency Response: Provide prompt response to emergency breakdown calls, minimizing downtime for clients.
• Documentation: Complete service reports, log parts used, and provide recommendations to clients.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Vocational training or apprenticeship in mechanical fitting, pump technology, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience with domestic, irrigation, and sewage pumps.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of hydraulic and electrical principles.
• Ability to read technical diagrams and schematics.
• Physical fitness to handle heavy equipment and work in confined spaces.
