Innovations Group is looking for a visionary CTO to lead the digital transformation of our facilities portfolio and drive the integration of smart technologies across accommodations, hospitality, and residential assets.The successful candidate will have a strong background in tech-enabled facilities, IoT-driven building automation, and sensor-based infrastructure. You'll help us reimagine how we manage buildings--where issues are detected before they arise, energy is optimized in real-time, and operations are run from a centralized digital brain.Our current portfolio includes:o Labour accommodations housing 4,000+ residentso Two hotels with a total of 350 roomso Three high-end residential villasWe are seeking a leader who can merge engineering, data, and design-thinking to future-proof this portfolio and lead us into the next generation of smart facilities. Key Responsibilities:o Design and implement a smart building strategy using IoT, sensors, automation, and data analyticso Oversee integration of technologies like:- Leak detection sensors (water/gas)- Air quality and HVAC monitoring systems- Predictive maintenance tools- Occupancy & movement sensorso Lead digital transformation projects across all propertieso Build and mentor a cross-functional technical team (FM + Tech)o Collaborate with Facilities Manager, IT, and Operations to align tech and operational goalso Evaluate, select, and manage tech vendors and solution providerso Ensure cybersecurity, data compliance, and system reliabilityo Identify and implement energy-saving and ESG-driven tech solutionso Track ROI and performance of implemented systems Qualifications & Experience:o Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related fieldo 8+ years of experience in facilities technology, smart buildings, or proptecho Proven track record in deploying sensor-based systems or building management platformso Experience with smart cities, hospitality tech, or large-scale residential automation is preferredo Deep understanding of IoT protocols, BMS, EMS, SCADA, and cloud platformso Strong exposure to the UAE market and familiarity with local regulationso Strategic thinker with startup/scaleup mindset and hands-on tech execution
