Key Responsibilities
Provide legal opinions on matters referred to the department and offer advisory guidance.
Manage organizational units within the department, monitor their performance, and prepare reports to avoid duplication of objectives and tasks.
Propose strategic and operational plans for the department, develop performance indicators, and work to achieve them.
Supervise the preparation of legal studies, agreements, and regulatory frameworks relevant to the organization's operations.
Oversee the preparation of legal memoranda, litigation documents where the organization is a party, and follow up on proceedings in coordination with relevant authorities.
Supervise the preparation and approval of all legal opinions related to inquiries and consultations referred to the department.
Oversee the work of the Violations and Complaints Committees, reviewing complaints and petitions in matters referred from competent authorities within the department's jurisdiction.
Supervise the drafting and review of contracts and project agreements referred from relevant authorities.
Supervise the preparation and review of memoranda submitted to the Cabinet or the Ministerial Council regarding federal initiatives and legislation.
Oversee drafting of draft laws, decisions, and circulars related to the organization's work.
Coordinate with the State Litigation Department in judicial cases where the organization is a party
