Position Overview

The Diesel / Heavy Equipment Auto Electrician is responsible for performing electrical diagnostics, repairs, and preventive maintenance on heavy equipment, including

crushers, screening plants, loaders, excavators, trucks, and other construction machinery

. The role requires expertise in

engine wiring harnesses, alternators, lighting harnesses, sensors, controllers, and electrical components

, ensuring safe and efficient operation of all equipment.

Key Responsibilities

Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair

electrical and electronic faults

in diesel engines and heavy equipment, including crushers and related machinery. Inspect, maintain, and repair

engine wiring harnesses, alternators, starters, batteries, relays, and lighting systems

. Perform preventive maintenance and scheduled inspections on electrical systems to reduce downtime. Install, repair, and calibrate

sensors, controllers, monitoring devices, and safety systems

on heavy equipment and crushers. Read and interpret

electrical diagrams, schematics, and service manuals

for troubleshooting. Ensure compliance with

safety standards, wiring codes, and company procedures

during all electrical work. Maintain accurate service records, job cards, and reports of work performed. Provide support to mechanical teams during

major overhauls, crusher shutdowns, and plant maintenance

. Identify electrical parts, tools, and consumables required, and raise requisitions as needed. Ensure that all work areas and tools are kept

clean, organized, and in safe working condition

. Report recurring faults, potential risks, or fabrication of reports/certificates immediately to management.

Qualifications & Experience

Diploma / ITI Certificate in

Automobile Electrical / Heavy Equipment Electrical

or equivalent. Minimum

5+ years of experience

as an Auto Electrician with heavy machinery, crushers, or construction equipment. Strong knowledge of: Diesel engine electrical systems (wiring harness, alternator, starter, battery systems) Heavy equipment and crusher electrical circuits Hydraulic and electronic control systems (basic integration with electricals) Ability to use diagnostic tools, multimeters, and testing equipment. Familiar with

preventive maintenance programs

and documentation. Working knowledge of

UAE HSE standards

for workshop and site environments.

Skills & Competencies

Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and in a team. Attention to detail with a high level of accuracy. Physically fit to work in

field and workshop environments

. Good communication skills to coordinate with supervisors and operators.

Other Requirements

Willingness to work in

field conditions (site, quarries, crusher plants)

and workshop environment. Flexibility to work

overtime, weekends, or night shifts

when required. Valid UAE driving license (preferred).

Pay: AED7,000.00 per month
