Key Responsibilities
Design and estimate smoke management systems for various projects, including commercial, industrial, and residential buildings.
Conduct site visits and gather necessary information to develop accurate and cost-effective designs.
Collaborate with the engineering team to ensure that all designs meet safety standards and comply with applicable codes and regulations.
Use computer-aided design (CAD) software to create detailed drawings and schematics.
Prepare accurate cost estimates for materials, labor, and equipment required for the implementation of smoke management systems.
Communicate with clients and contractors to gather project requirements, address any concerns, and provide technical support.
Stay updated with the latest developments and advancements in smoke management system design and apply them to our products.
Participate in technical reviews and provide suggestions for improvement to existing designs.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in smoke management system design and estimation.
Proficient in CAD software and other engineering design tools.
Strong understanding of relevant safety standards and codes.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Professional engineer (PE) license is a plus.
