Position Overview
Data Management Manager - Information Technology - Dubai, UAE will oversee the development of departmental plans, operational mechanisms, and governance frameworks to ensure data quality, compliance, and security. The role involves supervising audits, implementing standards, and supporting strategic goals while driving continuous improvement in data management practices.

What You'll Do

• Conduct regular audits and assessments to monitor and improve data quality
• Manage data management tools and ensure compliance with quality standards
• Contribute to departmental strategic plans and oversee operational implementation
• Maintain quality controls for storing, transferring, and utilizing data securely
• Prepare periodic achievement and performance indicator reports for leadership
• Support the preparation of departmental budgets with relevant teams
• Develop and implement data governance policies, frameworks, and best practices
• Provide training programs to enhance staff knowledge of data management and compliance
• Strengthen internal and external partnerships to improve service standards
• Execute data cleansing, refinement, and validation processes to enhance accuracy
• Monitor classification levels and ensure compliance with global standards
• Create learning and motivation programs to strengthen continuous improvement culture
• Support the Director of Data Management in achieving departmental goals

Ideal Profile

• PhD in Information Technology (no experience required), OR Master's in IT with 3+ years, OR Bachelor's in IT with 6+ years of relevant experience
• Professional certifications in areas such as Oracle Database, Microsoft Azure, Cybersecurity, AI, or Data Governance preferred
• Strong expertise in data governance, data quality, and IT risk management
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills
• Ability to manage audits, compliance processes, and cross-functional projects
• Skilled in training, process improvement, and quality management systems
