The Company:

Robert Half is working with a leading multinational conglomerate in order to find a Corporate Development Principal to enhance their already impressive team.

The Role:

Support Corporate Development team in evaluation of M&A, PE and VC opportunities, Greenfield and Divestment opportunities across all business divisions and geographies.

• Prepare and review presentations, financial models on the opportunities regarding specified key performance indicators.

• Liaise and coordinate with external consultants/advisors for due diligence and internal stakeholders in relation to the transaction.

• Analyzing new business ideas to identify key drivers of performance, potential business model gaps or synergies with the company portfolio

• Deriving validation plans and identifying types of evidence required to make an informed, rational assessment of a business opportunity, recommend an investment decision or changes in the business model

• Developing business cases - from back-of-the-envelope analysis to full-blown financial models

• Work closely with Finance, Legal, and investment committee to coordinate the development of a deal and create the necessary contracts.

• Driving the investment decision making process around a specific opportunity end-to-end, including analytical foundation, project management, supporting materials, governance and stakeholder management (internal and external);

• Coaching business teams (consisting of the company and external partners) on the matters of business model, unit economics, business case design, investment attractiveness criteria

• Directly contributing to the strategy of the company in the domain of Corporate Development / New Businesses.

The Candidate:

• Education: Minimum Bachelor's Degree from a top-tier university; Masters in Finance or Business highly preferred. Any industry certification may also be beneficial
