Cleaner - Tank Cleaning Experience
Job Summary:
We require an experienced Cleaner with specific expertise in industrial tank cleaning. This role involves the internal and external cleaning of various types of tanks (e.g., water, chemical, fuel) in compliance with strict safety and environmental protocols.
Key Responsibilities:

• Tank Cleaning: Perform manual and automated cleaning of the interior and exterior of industrial tanks, silos, and vessels.
• Method Selection: Use appropriate cleaning methods, including high-pressure water jetting, steam cleaning, and chemical cleaning, based on the tank's previous contents.
• Safety Procedures: Rigorously follow confined space entry procedures, including gas testing, use of harnesses, and maintaining communication with a standby person.
• Waste Disposal: Handle and dispose of cleaning waste and residues in accordance with environmental regulations and company policy.
• Inspection Support: Prepare tanks for internal inspection, maintenance, or repair by ensuring they are clean, dry, and gas-free.
• Equipment Maintenance: Clean and maintain all cleaning equipment after use, reporting any faults.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Prior experience in industrial cleaning, specifically with tank cleaning.
• Certification in Confined Space Entry is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of high-pressure water jetting systems and chemical cleaning agents.
• Understanding of basic health, safety, and environmental procedures related to hazardous materials and confined spaces.
• Physical fitness and ability to work in confined spaces and wear personal protective equipment for extended periods.
