Cleaner
Job Title: Cleaner

Reports To: Head Cleaner / Housekeeping Supervisor
Job Overview:
The Cleaner is responsible for performing a variety of cleaning activities to maintain the premises in a clean, tidy, and hygienic condition. This role is fundamental to creating a positive and professional image of the facility.
Key Responsibilities:

• Clean and sanitize toilets, showers, and washrooms, replenishing supplies as needed.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and polish floors in assigned areas.
• Dust furniture, fixtures, and fittings regularly.
• Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors using appropriate cleaners.
• Empty trash bins and dispose of waste in designated areas.
• Wipe down desks, countertops, and other surfaces.
• Clean and maintain common areas, hallways, and entryways.
• Report any maintenance issues, damages, or safety concerns to the supervisor.
• Follow established safety procedures and use cleaning chemicals and equipment properly.
• May be required to handle special cleaning projects as assigned.

Qualifications and Skills:

• No formal education required; on-the-job training is typically provided.
• Previous experience in a cleaning role is beneficial but not mandatory.
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, proper storage, and disposal methods.
• Ability to handle cleaning equipment (e.g., vacuum, floor buffer).
• Honesty, reliability, and a strong work ethic.
• Good physical health and stamina.
• Ability to understand and follow instructions.
• Attention to detail.
