Job Description

CIVIL SUPERVISOR
Summary: The Civil Supervisor is responsible for overseeing all civil construction activities on-site, ensuring that projects are executed according to design specifications, schedules, and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and direct the work of civil laborers, masons, carpenters, and steel fixers.
  • Interpret architectural and structural drawings and ensure they are followed correctly.
  • Monitor the usage of materials like cement, steel, and aggregates to ensure quality and minimize waste.
  • Check levels, alignment, and dimensions of formwork, concrete pours, and finished structures.
  • Ensure all work adheres to safety protocols and quality control standards.
  • Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and other supervisors.
  • Maintain daily site reports, including manpower, equipment, and work progress.
  • Inspect and ensure the proper maintenance of construction tools and equipment.
Qualifications:
  • Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Civil Supervisor or Foreman on construction sites.
  • Thorough knowledge of civil construction processes, materials, and methods.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings.
  • Strong leadership and problem-solving skills.
