JOB SUMMARY:

Our client, an established company in the signage, digital signage and outdoor advertising sector, is seeking an experienced

Chief Accountant

to lead the accounting and finance function.

This is a

senior-level finance leadership role

requiring strong command over accounting operations, cost controls, and reporting frameworks. The ideal candidate brings a strategic mindset, operational rigor, and a background in managing financials within the

signage, digital signage, and outdoor advertising

industries.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Lead the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and performance reports. Oversee

financial reporting

,

budgeting

,

forecasting

, and

cash flow

management

, ensuring strict

compliance

with industry standards and regulatory frameworks Monitor

project-based costing

, including

budgeting

and

financial tracking

of signage /digital led signage production, installations and annual maintenance contracts.

Analyze revenue streams

from media placements, rental spaces, and advertising campaigns; identify

cost optimization

opportunities. Oversee

budget forecasting

, variance analysis, and operational KPIs relevant to advertising cycles and installation timelines. Ensure compliance with

IFRS

, UAE corporate tax laws, and internal policies. Maintain robust

internal controls

, asset protection procedures, and reporting systems. Provide financial insights for

contract bidding

,

media buying

,

site acquisition

, and

equipment leasing

. Coordinate with operations, sales, marketing, and legal teams on campaign budgeting and cost-sharing models.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Qualification:

Must have CA / ACCA / CPA / CMA qualified or part-qualified.

Experience:

Minimum 10+ years in finance and accounting UAE, with at least 5 years in a senior finance role

within the signage, and outdoor advertising.

Skills & Expertise:

Strong knowledge of project costing, margin analysis, VAT, and revenue recognition in service-based industries. Expertise in financial modeling, forecasting, and variance analysis. Proficient in ERP/accounting systems (e.g., SAP, QuickBooks, or industry-specific tools). Strong leadership, decision-making skills with ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. High attention to detail and a proactive, problem-solving mindset.
