Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Chief Accountant with strong knowledge of rent-a-car financial operations. The ideal candidate will oversee all accounting functions, ensure accurate financial reporting, manage cash flow, and support management in financial planning.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee daily accounting operations (AP, AR, GL, payroll, bank reconciliation). Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. Manage cash flow, budgeting, forecasting, and expense control. Monitor fleet costing, depreciation, lease payments, fines, and maintenance expenses. Ensure compliance with UAE VAT regulations and timely filing. Coordinate with auditors and prepare audit schedules. Implement internal controls to safeguard company assets. Review contracts, rental agreements, and approvals related to fleet purchases/sales. Monitor credit customers, collections, and overdue accounts. Supervise and guide the accounting team.

Requirements:

nationality preferred. Minimum 5 years of experience in a Rent-a-Car or Automotive company. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. Strong knowledge of UAE accounting standards and VAT. Proficiency in accounting software (Tally/QuickBooks/SAP or similar). Excellent analytical, reporting, and communication skills. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Pay: AED7,000.00 per month
