We are looking for a detail-oriented
Accountant
with experience in thecar rental industry
to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial transactions, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and company policies.Key Responsibilities:
Handle
accounts payable and receivable
specific to car rental operations. Preparefinancial statements, balance sheets, and profit & loss reports
. Reconcilebank statements and fleet-related expenses
. Monitorrental income, deposits, and payment schedules
. Assist inbudgeting, forecasting, and cost control analysis
. Ensure compliance withtax regulations and financial reporting standards
. Processpayroll and commission calculations
for employees. Supportaudits and internal financial reviews
. Maintainaccurate records of vehicle depreciation, insurance, and maintenance costs
. Provide financial insights to optimize profitability and efficiency.Requirements:
Bachelor's degree
in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.Minimum 2-5 years of accounting experience
(preferably in the car rental industry). Proficiency inaccounting softwares
Strong knowledge offinancial regulations, taxation, and reporting standards
. Experience withfleet cost management and rental agreements
is a plus. Excellentanalytical skills and attention to detail
. Strongcommunication and problem-solving skills
