Certification Engineer (electrical Products)

Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Processing product certification applications
- Review of test reports
- Compilation of certification documents
- Compilation of certification documents
- Assisting with product surveillance
- Approve certificates/products
- Assist in internal tasks related to certification office activities
- Represent the organization in multiple regulatory meetings with authorities as technical expert
- Familiarity with IEC standards concerning domestic & home appliances and consumer electrical products
- Ideally, experience in the subject of restriction of hazardous substances
- Basic understanding of energy efficiency for home appliances, lighting products, luminaries and lighting C
- Knowledge of equipment for use in explosive atmosphere
- Experience in ISO 9001 and IEC 17025 is preferred o Good IT literacy skills (Microsoft Office)
- Experience in testing and/or certification of electrical products
- Familiarity with laboratory testing methods
- Ability to scrutinize and compare technical documents
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or similar related field.
- 3 years + of in product certification
