Job Title: CCTV Control Room Operator
Location: Dubai, UAE
Reports to: Security Manager / Control Room Supervisor
Job Purpose:
To operate and monitor all surveillance systems (CCTV, alarms) within a control room environment, ensuring continuous surveillance of the premises to detect, deter, and report suspicious activities, thereby supporting overall security operations.
Key Responsibilities:

• Proactively monitor live and recorded CCTV footage from multiple cameras across the site.
• Operate all control room equipment, including CCTV systems, access control, and alarm monitoring panels.
• Identify and investigate suspicious behavior, security breaches, or unusual activities and escalate incidents to on-ground security personnel or management.
• Maintain accurate and detailed logs of all events, incidents, and communications in the control room diary.
• Coordinate effectively with security patrols via two-way radio to direct them based on visual observations.
• Ensure the confidentiality and security of all recorded footage and data in compliance with SIRA and company policies.
• Perform routine system checks to ensure all surveillance equipment is functioning correctly and report any faults.
• Assist in retrieving and archiving footage as required for investigations or legal purposes.

Requirements:

• Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience as a CCTV Operator or in a control room environment within Dubai, UAE.
• Certification: Must possess a valid and active SIRA Certificate with a specific endorsement for CCTV Operation.
• Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent certification in a relevant field (e.g., Security Management, IT) is preferred.
• Skills:
• Excellent observation skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to multitask and monitor several screens for extended periods without loss of concentration.
• Good communication skills to relay information clearly and concisely.
• Sound technical knowledge of CCTV systems, software, and hardware.
• Proficient in writing clear and factual reports.
