Key Responsibilities

• Manage category assortment planning including product selection, pricing, and lifecycle management
• Conduct market research to analyze customer behavior, competitor activity, and sales trends
• Develop promotional plans to support category growth and seasonal objectives
• Lead buying and merchandising teams to ensure assortments meet customer and business requirements
• Evaluate supplier performance, negotiate contracts, and secure favorable pricing and delivery terms
• Use SAP, Power BI, and other analytics tools to monitor category performance and drive improvements
• Maintain balanced inventory levels to optimize availability and minimize cost
• Coordinate with logistics to ensure smooth product flow and resolve supply chain issues
• Prepare category performance reports with insights and recommendations for senior management

• Experience in category management, buying, or merchandising within retail or sports industry
• Strong analytical capability with understanding of category performance metrics
• Proficiency with SAP, Power BI, or similar tools
• Skilled negotiator with experience managing vendor relationships
• Ability to interpret market trends and convert them into actionable category plans
• Strong communication and project coordination skills
• Detail-oriented, commercially focused, and comfortable in a fast-paced retail environment
