Job Summary

We are seeking a confident, friendly, and service-oriented

Captain Waitress

to lead our restaurant service team. This role involves supervising daily restaurant operations, guiding staff, and ensuring every guest enjoys an exceptional dining experience. The ideal candidate will be a strong leader with excellent communication skills, a positive attitude, and a genuine passion for hospitality.

Key Responsibilities

Greet and seat guests courteously, ensuring they feel welcome and comfortable. Supervise, motivate, and assist waitstaff to deliver efficient and high-quality service. Accurately take guest orders and communicate them to the kitchen and bar teams. Ensure all food and beverage items meet presentation and quality standards. Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints with professionalism and empathy. Monitor guest satisfaction and take prompt action to resolve any issues. Maintain a clean, organized, and pleasant dining environment at all times. Train, coach, and support new team members to enhance service quality and teamwork. Coordinate with the kitchen and management to ensure seamless daily operations. Manage billing, process payments, and verify cash and sales accuracy. Complete end-of-shift duties including reports, stock counts, and cash reconciliation. Adhere to hygiene, safety, and company operational standards. Participate actively in team meetings and training sessions.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Captain, Supervisor, or similar role in a restaurant or F&B setting. Solid knowledge of food, beverage, and service standards. Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work effectively under pressure during busy service hours. Friendly, approachable personality with exceptional customer service focus. Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
