We are seeking a confident and proactive Captain Waitress to lead our restaurant service team. This role combines staff supervision, daily operations management, and a commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences across all food and beverage services.
Key Responsibilities:
Warmly welcome and seat guests to create a positive first impression
Supervise and support waitstaff to ensure smooth and efficient service delivery
Accurately take and communicate orders to kitchen and bar teams
Uphold high standards of food and beverage presentation
Professionally handle guest requests and resolve any complaints
Monitor guest satisfaction and take appropriate follow-up actions
Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining areas
Coach and train new team members, promoting teamwork and collaboration
Liaise effectively with kitchen staff and management to optimize service flow
Manage billing processes and handle payments accurately
Complete end-of-shift closing duties including stocktaking and cash reconciliation
Enforce compliance with hygiene, food safety, and company policies
Participate actively in staff meetings and training programs
Qualifications:
Prior experience in a supervisory role within food and beverage service preferred
Strong understanding of menu offerings and service standards
Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills
Flexible availability to work evenings, weekends, and varying shifts
